My family moved to the UK in 1968, where I met and married and reared 2 children. After 20 years, we moved to SC where we both have careers.
Our daughter came here a couple of years later and married a local guy and they now have a 4 year old (our granddaughter). Our son joined the US Navy and is about to go back to Afghanistan for the second time. He is married.

From Gemma:After being a "beach girl" my hole life I have left the palm trees and sea gulls behind and moved to Tarpon Springs and switched to oak trees, horses and dogs. Absolutely love the change.

It's incredible where life takes you. Our life is now dictated by, of all things, race horses and a sweet lab rescue dog.

On any give day, we can either be found at the race track or the dog park and wouldn't change it for the world.
