From Linda:Until 2003, I was the Administrative Assistant for the Sr. Vice Pres. of a national non-profit organization. I tendered my resignation in the summer of 2003 as I lost my husband and best friend. We had been married for 34 years. Anyway, I sold our home on Lake Panasoffkee and moved to Pensacola (where I still reside) and began college in the summer of 2004. I graduated from the University of West Florida in May of this year with my BA in English Writing. I am working on a book about the Civil War as my great great grandfather kept a diary while a union soldier and I would like to share it with whoever might be interested. Meanwhile, I am enjoying single life, my 8 grandchildren (2-20) as well as 1 great grandaughter all of whom are located here there and various spots throughout the south. I am in the throws of networking with all of the professors who befriended me while I attended college so that I can find employment in some field related to writing. That is besides teaching ... I come from an entire teaching family (mom and 2 sisters, plus aunts, cousins, etc) so that is not on my docket. Although I won't be able to make the reunion, I will be thinking about everyone and hope that everything will be a total success.

What will you do in your retirement?:We plan on retiring to our mountain home in Blairsville, about 65 miles north of where we are currently living. I am planning to continue to work a couple of days a week for a few more years.
